malam tak lagi menawarkan ketenangan
riuh suara-suara lalu lalang
diemperan toko lelap saja pengemis jalanan
meski deru mesin memenuhi lubang telinganya
sementara pada belahan bumi lain
hening dan senyap menikmati lelapnya tidur
hiburan sepoi desiran angin menghanyutkan
melenakan raga dan jiwa pada bibir kematian
dan disini di hati anak-anak negeri yang terjajah
menganga pertanda habis siasat pada hidup
menggelar tanya pada penghujung malam
tentang bagaimana esok menyambung hidup

I do like the manner in which you have framed this challenge and it does provide me personally some fodder for consideration. On the other hand, coming from everything that I have experienced, I simply just wish as the actual remarks stack on that people stay on point and don’t start on a tirade of the news du jour.
